The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has said that man-made trans fats are not safe in food anymore.

Adults should limit total fat to 30% or less of their daily energy.
From age 2 and up, most fat should come from unsaturated fats.

Trans fats to 1% or less of daily energy.
