Blooming in the most unlikely of places, the symbolism of the LOTUS is also drawn from the environment that it thrives in. Finding sanctuary in muddy, murky waters, the Lotus plant grows from the muddy depths, soaring majestically over the water’s surface, its beauty and presence blithely unaffected by the humble environs that it grows in. Beyond its deep symbolism and cultural representations, Lotus Flowers have also been used in medicine and skincare for hundreds of years and are still in use to this day, like in our soap.
The cell rejuvenating activity possessed by the lotus flower is due to the potent carbohydrate content present in it. The major skin care carbohydrate that plays an important role in this is oligosaccharide. These are known to stimulate the skin cells which aids in regeneration and improves cytokine production. Because of such cell regeneration properties, they are also useful for anti-acne, anti-aging creams and anti-irritant treatments.
The flavonoids of lotus flowers by possessing scavenging free radicals action and iron chelating action exhibit potent antioxidant activity.
The lotus flower by possessing potent antioxidant properties is known to revive and rejuvenate the skin. These phytochemicals exhibit great affinity for proteins like elastin and collagen. That is why, this flower hydrates, moisturizes, improves skin elasticity, skin collagen, blood circulation and reduces wrinkles and fine lines. Lotus flowers improve skin integrity and are significantly used for their sculpture activity. The whole lotus plant also exhibits potent de-pigmenting properties. GOAT MILK, In addition to lactic acid, contains fatty acids that help repair the skin barrier, probiotics to encourage the growth of normal skin flora, and vitamin A to help gently exfoliate. Those fatty acids also contribute to noticeably softer skin.
PALM OIL contains the hard to find toctrienols, which are members of the vitamin E family. The common form of vitamin E, tocopherol, has long been used to treat many skin ailments and is found in many anti-aging products. It also contains a refatting agent that helps restore the skin’s natural oils most soaps and strip away letting moisture escape. KAOLIN CLAY absorbs sebum and prevents pore clogging. It's used to draw out impurities and toxins from the pores. It then helps to clear the skin of excess oil, dirt, and pollution without causing any redness or irritation.
COLLOIDAL OATS binds to your skin and locks in moisture, giving your skin a chance to rehydrate. It also softens your skin and soothes itching. Its anti-inflammatory properties make it great for people who have dry skin, because it helps balance your skin's natural pH levels.

RICE BRAN OIL improves circulation, evens out skin tone, and minimizes the appearance of dark circles and puffiness around the eye area. It increases skin's natural regeneration, encourages moisture retention, and soothes irritation.
SWEET ALMOND OIL keeps your skin cells healthy, protects your skin from UV radiation damage, and helps your skin look smooth, soft, and free of fine lines. The fatty acids help your skin retain moisture and can heal chapped and irritated skin. Plus, the vitamin A can help reduce acne.
CASTOR OIL contains antioxidants that fight free radicals in your body fighting acne and other skin problems. Castor oil has antibacterial properties, it reduces puffiness, it’s moisturizing, it can even soothe a sunburn and is great for your overall skin health.
