“Nurturing the Land, Inspiring Change.”
Ms. Jocelyn D. Reyes of San Ildefonso, Bulacan, is a passionate agrarian reform beneficiary. She is a recipient of a 0.94-hectare farmland from the Department of Agrarian Reform program under Certificate of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) 7-9299, which she has transformed into certified Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) and a thriving hub for organic agriculture.
Her farm produces a variety of vegetables, herbs, poultry, livestock, and vermiculture, while also developing value-adding products such as rice flour and 4-in-1 noodles made from farm-grown vegetables. These efforts not only enhance food diversity but also promote sustainable, health-conscious consumption.
Beyond working in the field, she also serves as a lecturer and resource speaker at the LSA, sharing expertise on organic farming, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. Her advocacy and expertise have earned recognition from various agencies and institutions committed to agricultural development.
Through her leadership in the Joyful Garden Farm Organic Farmers Association, Inc., Ms. Reyes stands as a beacon of sustainable farming, grassroots innovation, and community-driven progress, proving that with passion and purpose, even a small parcel of land can yield a harvest of hope.
