Making a Knife From an Old Metal Spring
In this video I transform an old metal spring into a fully finished handmade knife.
The process begins with heating the spring and straightening it before cutting out a workable piece. I then forge it into the shape of a knife refine the blade through grinding and sharpen it for a clean edge. After completing the hardening process I craft a wooden handle add a steel guard at the front and secure everything with rivets.
The result is a fully functional knife made entirely from reclaimed material a satisfying blend of craftsmanship and creativity.
