{Hybrid Takeover} Go-Ahead London Wrightbus NB4L stays In-Mode on a Continuous Thrashing up to 58mph

Today this London General LT fills the void of no New Routemaster/N4FL videos since January 2023... and does so in style! The title represents the action in this video, in the South-Western outskirts of London where a driving style of a heavy-foot leaves this LT with no time to enter electric mode (for the engine to cut-out)! All you hear is straight revving from this engine, and the motors whailing... a common occurrence, but for the duration of full-throttling this is no regular journey! Maybe EL-Routes would have similar energy because those River Road drivers are something else... 😅 This very LT was able to reach the usul limiter of 55/56mph, then 58mph with the aid of a slight decline. At those speeds, the diff makes an unpleasant rumbling sound which is also audible in my previous video on a Stagecoach LT. Not the best sounding… These buses are commonly described as the heavy boats plastered all around london but you do get rapid LTs here and there!
