{PerfTest} Ex - Go-Ahead London Mercedes-Benz Citaro O530 ZF Ecomat | Kickdown

First of the single deckers to feature on the PerfTest series we have the jack of all trades... the Mercedes-Benz Citaro, a highly reputable heavyweight single decker which has led by example for many years! This fully-integral German Masterclass carries the 280hp OM906hLA, paired with a ZF Ecomat '592C' gearbox, which is capable of handling such torque and poses great performance... quick off the blocks, and evidently cosy getting up to speed as the 0-50mph time shows! In the gearbox setting they are in from standard, these buses can upshift early, allowing the gearbox to drop 2 gears, rarely 3 on high demand. And as usual an Ecomat won't resist a few redlines 😉, all the action is on show in just under 5-minutes! Will an E200 live up to such a standard??
