A wreath-laying ceremony was held in Jammu to honor Hawaldar Jhantu Ali Sheikh, who lost his life in the Udhampur encounter. The solemn event paid tribute to his bravery and sacrifice, with military personnel and officials in attendance to offer their respects. Just days after the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 tourist lives and injured many, Havaldar Jhantu Ali Shaikh of 6 Para was killed and two fellow commandos critically injured during an encounter with terrorists in the Dudu-Basantgarh area of Udhampur on Thursday morning.
