Today’s students face numerous challenges—academic pressure, peer influence, social media temptations, addictions, identity struggles, and emotional stress. These distractions often lead to confusion, insecurity, and a sense of being lost. In such a world, the safest and surest path is to fear God and seek His will. This song, “ಸಮನಾದ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀ ನಡಿಸು” (Lead me in the straight path), is a prayerful cry from a heart longing for direction, stability, and peace in life’s uncertainties.

It echoes the desire of King Solomon in 1 Kings 3:3–14, where he asks not for riches but wisdom to do God’s will. It also reflects the joy Jesus speaks of in Luke 10:21–24—that God reveals His truth to the humble and childlike. The song reminds us that walking in God’s way, doing His will, and depending on His hand is the true source of strength and joy. It is a timely song of surrender and guidance for every student.

This is one more meaningful song of prayer which had been written by late Mr. Isaac Karunakara as long back as March 1979! Stuthi is grateful for the opportunity to render this song publicly for the very first time! Several of his publicly sung songs, have richly blessed the Christian community. Stuthi had earlier rendered the following songs KARTHA NINNA PREEHISUVENU, NINNA SAANIDHYAKKE (in its first album PARISHUDDHA DEVA 2010) ; NAA NINNA KANNANTHE AMOOLYANE (in its second album PARISHUDDHA DEVA 2012) ; NIN BHOOYATREYA (Live worship) and recently YESUVINA SHILUBELI .

1.ಎಡವಿ ಬೀಳದಂತೆನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡು ಯೇಸುವೆ
