I generated data in the form of vignettes (ethnographic in style despite my using participant observation), and reflective memos, I ended up with hundreds and hundreds of pages of detailed notes.
If you work with people with profound and multiple learning disabilities you will understand how revisiting moments shared with them can enhance your ability to be together in the future, whilst 'data' sounds cold and formal, the reflective process undergone through my data connection serves to enhance the warmth of human connection.
You can read a little about this on pages 76-78 of my thesis (which is available for free here: https://eprints.soton.ac.uk/497372/ )
