Mérida is a city with a rich, especially Roman, history. Along the banks of the River Guadiana and on the islands nest many birds. Nature in the city, it's possible! In the afternoon we do a walk further south with departure at the Presa de Alagne. Here we successfully search for the very rare Black Wheatear.
Mérida is een stad met een rijke, vooral Romeinse, historie. Langs de oevers van de rivier Guadiana en op de eilanden nestelen veel vogels. Natuur in de stad, het kan! In de namiddag doen we zuidelijker nog een wandeling met vertrek bij de Presa de Alagne. Hier gaan we met succes op zoek naar de zeer zeldzame zwarte tapuit.
