HOBBITON THE EVENING BANQUET TOUR + PELORUS BRIDGE!

Come with us, we’re going on an adventure! We visit not one but two Hobbit/Lord of the Rings film locations. We go to Pelorus Bridge in the South Island. This is a fantastic beauty spot in its own right and was selected by Peter Jackson as a film location for the barrel scene in the second Hobbit film, ‘The Desolation of Smaug.’

Rounding up our NZ tour we go to Hobbiton and splash out for the evening banquet. We luckily bump into Candace, who we had met in Milford Sounds. And share the evening with her and her friend Larnie alongside our lovely neighbour Kaus. We experienced the magic of the film set and the attention to detail they had to make this seem like a real place. We drank a toast and had a feast at the Green Dragon then went on a lantern lit walk around Hobbiton in the dark. This was a very special day.
