There’s a Cave in Los Angeles? | FULL HIKE - Cave of Munits

On this day (November 2021), we explored the Cave of Munits in the city of Los Angeles, California. It is also called the El Scorpion Canyon Park that is 1.7 miles to complete with a small elevation gain that is over 300 feet including the climb inside the mountain cave. This was a great experience to explore and climb up through a cave which is unfamiliar in LA. When one visits Los Angeles, one would not think caves to explore. There is no gear necessary and the climb is not very clear when going upwards in the mountain. From there, we did not hike to the Castel Peak, but scrambled to a steep descent off the mountain which was well worth the experience overall.
