Making in-person friends as an adult is hard — and it can feel even harder when you’re neurodivergent, late-diagnosed, or unmasking after years of social survival mode. In this video, I share honestly about trying to build offline community, noticing old masking and over-analyzing return, and learning not to rush connection.
I talk about social spirals after meetups, the pressure to be “the perfect friend,” and why real friendship usually grows slowly, not instantly. If you’re craving community but terrified you’re “too much” or “not enough,” you’re not alone here.
