We check out an International Harvester 412 PayScraper owned by a local paving company. This unit has not been used in a while due to a rusted and damaged bottom for the bowl.
The IH 412 was the successor of the E200 PayScraper and the predecessor to the 412B which was produced even after Dresser purchased International's construction equipment division in 1982.
The 412 scraper used a International Harvester DT466 diesel engine and was only available in two wheel(front) drive.
This machine from the mid to late 1970s would have had competitors by Caterpillar, John Deere, and Terex.
