The Flap t is common in North American Phonetics. The "th" sound is difficult, and does not exist in many languages. How do we use these sounds? How do we create them? The flap occurs when the letter "t" is between two voiced sounds, for example vowels. And the "th" is a dental fricative. It is created by friction between the teeth, air flow, and tongue position.
