Impressions during the opening 2015 summer retreat of Plum Village in southern France. Thousands of pilgrims enjoyed monastic life during these four weeks of practice. I was there for the first week and stayed in Upper Hamlet where most images were captured. Middle Hamlet was also featured in this video - it is the Hamlet that looks like a Vietnamese country home. Lower Hamlet was where the walking meditation lead to a concert of classical music among the rustling leaves.
