The reason for this is often because no specific product is available to the enthusiast for the caring of the sole edge. Shoemakers have access to a hot sole edge iron, whilst ordinary enthusiasts do not.
The Paul Brunngard group has developed a new tool, composed of solid walnut to help re-address the sole edge. Paired with the right creams, the sole edge can be restored to its original condition.
