Just when you think you're done shooting trains for the month... you're not.
Here are the last catches of August. What started as a walk on a bridge and a lucky catch, quickly became a few days' worth of decent catches in Winona, MN.
About Winona, MN
Winona, Minnesota is a railroad town. The history of Winona, Minnesota’s railroad town roots goes all the way back to the mid-1800s. In the mid-1800s, the first railroad tracks were laid in Winona, and the city quickly became a hub for transportation. In the later 19th century, the railroad industry in Winona really took off, and the city grew significantly as it became a major transportation center. By the early 20th century, Winona had become a hub for shipping goods and people all across the Midwest. The railroads allowed Winona to become a major commercial hub and helped shape the city into what it is today.
P.s. One shot was on the edge of Minnesota City, but that's only noticeable by a well-trained or familiar eye. Opted against any distracting graphics for this short video.
