This is Windows 8 Consumer Preview build 8250.
This was released on 29 February 2012 by Microsoft to the public and was compiled on 17 February 2012. It removed the all references of the old Windows flag, updated the Metro UI, working Windows Store/Live apps, and is bundled with some Metro apps that are also in the RTM. This build can only be installed on VMware 8.x/9.x compatibility, otherwise a black screen with an error code will appear at the setup boot, similar to Developer Preview.
