The second-longest private railway network in Japan, Tobu Railway serves a wide area to the north of Tokyo, serving both commuters and tourists with a large variety of trains and services. In 2023, to improve service on their limited express services to the popular Nikko tourist area, Tobu introduced the N100 series SPACIA X express train. Along with luxurious accommodation options, the train features large panoramic sections at its ends, providing passengers with driver’s eye views of the scenery.
