Curren Caples VS Hawaii Bowl RAW Footage

Curren Caples Versus a Lahaina, Hawaii skatepark back in 2015 (?). This trip was a lot of fun, it was initially supposed to be shot a couple months prior but the day before we left, Curren broke his wrist at the X Games. So, we were unsure if it would happen at all but when it did, it was well worth the wait. It was unbelievably hot, so we would wake up super early and skate after sunrise, hang out at the beach or explore during the day and then hit the skatepark again at night. Although one thing was always certain, The Beach Boys were playing 24/7. This project was shot for The Berrics "In Transition" contest. At the age of 19, I moved from Chicago, Il to southern California to pursue my dream as a professional skateboarding filmmaker. After a few weeks, I began my job at The Berrics, where I would call home for 15 years. I also shoot for Street League Skateboarding and the X Games.
