Day 6 - Round 6 - Miles 798 - 809 of my AT MYTH Thru Hike - Punchbowl to Long Mountain 10/20/25

Day 6 of Round 6 for 2025. I hiked the Appalachian Trail from The Punchbowl to the the Long Mountain Wayside NOBO. This was Day 6 of Round Six of my AT Section Hikes for 2025. Today's hike covered 10.9 miles with about 2200 ft of ascending and 2300 ft of descending along the route. It was a nice easy day of hiking on the AT, with several great views.

This hike also featured a hike through the former settlement of freed slaves called "Brown Mountain Creek Community". It's a powerful historical site. More information can be found at the links below:
