Data on trail
A long hike solves most things for me, most of the time. This channel was created to track my hiking, camping and gardening adventures, including training hikes and practice vlogs. I am currently working toward complete section hikes of the Appalachian Trail and the Ice Age Trail. The AT is 2198 miles long and the IAT is 1200 miles long, roughly.
I'll be hiking these two National Scenic Trails in sections, alternating between the two trails. The Ice Age Trail is closer to my homestead and easier to hike, but also less developed and more isolated. The Appalachian Trail is more well developed and better supported, but is farther from my homestead and more technically difficult to complete.
I aim to complete these two trails by the end of 2027.
This channel will track these adventure and my prep for them - as all of that happens.
