Day 1 of Round 6 for 2025. I hiked the Appalachian Trail from Daleville to Montvale Viewpoint. This was the first day of my Round Six Section of 2025. Today's hike covered 15.5 miles with about 4000 ft of ascending and 2500 ft of descending along the route. It was a prefect day of hiking the AT.

Hey, y'all. I'm Data (on trail). I'm a 64 yr old novice long-distance hiker. I'm on a 3 year quest to hike both the Ice Age Trail & the Appalachian Trail in 2025 - 2027. I'm hiking these two trails in segments, alternating between them. Some folks have gone to calling this type of hike a "MTYH" (Multi Year Thru Hike) and I have decided to adopt that term.
