Welcome to part 15 of this Chesterfield Canal Restoration series. We're back in Staveley and after all the excitement of the construction work on the bridge, it's time for the official ceremonial opening.
Present were members of the Chesterfield Canal Trust, Derbyshire County Council, Staveley Town Deal, O'Briens, Tran Pennine Trail, Cycle Chesterfield amongst others.
We also hear about the immediate plans for the next restoration stages.
