Cadillac Escalade Tries to Outrun a CHP Stealth Dodge Durango In Los Angeles California

On June 30, 2025, in Los Angeles, California, a California Highway Patrol officer operating a stealth Dodge Durango initiated a high-speed police pursuit of a reckless white Cadillac Escalade on the 110 Freeway. The Escalade was aggressively weaving in and out of traffic at speeds reaching 100 miles per hour, creating a serious public safety risk.
The entire pursuit was captured on the CHP officer’s dashcam and bodycam. During the incident, the pursuing officer did not have a functioning portable radio and was unable to continue the chase on foot when the SUV stopped and multiple occupants fled the vehicle on Record Avenue. The officer remained with the Escalade until backup units arrived.
Responding CHP units quickly established a perimeter and they were able to detain one of the occupants that ran near the intersection of El Camino Real and Herbert Avenue. Officers also obtained Ring camera footage from a nearby residence, which showed the detained suspect jumping a fence and discarding a hoodie, a hat, and a bag containing several rounds of 9mm ammunition. The Ring video helped officers confirm they had the right person in custody.
After confirming the detained individual was an occupant of the Cadillac Escalade and determining there were no additional leads on the remaining suspects, officers placed the suspect under arrest.
The suspect detained was identified as Raul Rincon and he was booked into the LAPD 77th division jail on the following charges:
