Abstract
The talk will provide an overview of recent experimental work in the field of the Coherent Quantum Phase Slip (CQPS) effect in superconductors. This is one of the most fundamental effects not only in superconductivity but in Physics in general, and it is dual to the Josephson effect. From an application point of view, CQPS is in demand in metrology, as it can be used to develop a quantum current standard and to close the so-called quantum metrology triangle of quantum standards: voltage-resistance-current.
