New Trails & Features at Gamehaven with TKolbo - MinnesotaMTB - SireSingletrack - Rochester, MN

Recently my buddy ‪@Tkolbo_‬ invited myself and a couple other Minnesota YouTubers ‪@MinnesotaMTB_‬ and ‪@ElTerrible2011‬ down to Gamehaven Reservoir in Rochester to ride some new trails and features that the local club he is involved with, Rochester Active Sports Club, has been hard at work building. Joining us were some other members of RASC, Alec and Jake, who were awesome guides and helped film plenty of 3rd person shots!

I first rode Gamehaven in the fall of 2020, where I randomly met Travis at the trailhead and he gave me the full tour of the trails at Gamehaven Reservoir. Since then, I have ridden here a few more times with Travis and the trails here are always expanding. For this ride though, there were several new features everywhere, lots of new jumps and tabletops, and even a brand new black diamond trail called Entry Fee, a first in Rochester!

Entry Fee was very technical with it's off-camber cut down the elevation and plenty of exposed roots and slippery rocks. I am a huge fan of the Entry Fee trail, in a time where most trails are machine-cut smooth flow trail, it was awesome to ride some raw, off-camber technical steep trail! Don't forget about the price of admission where the trail gets its name, a drop off a sandstone rock wall! (There is an optional rollable ride-around)

This ride was a blast and if you have never ridden the trails in Rochester before, I suggest you go ride here! Can't wait to see how this trail system continues to expand!
