Historic wallpapers at Oxburgh Estate inspire new collection

Ilana Van Dort, Collections and House Manager at Oxburgh Estate, takes us behind the scenes to discover more about their historic wallpaper collection. Oxburgh Hall is home to one of the largest collections of wallpaper in the National Trust with further samples uncovered recently as part of a major roof restoration project. Some of the historic wallpaper dates from the 1750s all the way up to the 1950s. All of which vary in colour, pattern and design.
Thanks to a recent partnership with Little Greene, some of these historic wallpapers have inspired a new more contemporary collection of wallpaper. It means that you can now enjoy a little bit of Oxburgh in your own home, with the sale of every roll of wallpaper helping to support the vital conservation work needed to care for places like Oxburgh in Norfolk.
