Quest progression:

1. Speak to the “mumbling monk.” He asks for your help performing sacred rituals.
Help complete three rituals:

Perform the “Shi Yankou” ritual at a designated spot.

Offer a “Perfect Incense” at a cabin or altar.

Perform the “Jingsa” ritual at a rocky spot (or final ritual location).

2. After these are done and you speak with the monk, the scene transitions to midnight.
3. Join the funeral-style procession. Once rituals are done, a procession of mourners appears — you take up a lantern and walk with them over a slope toward a temple-area; stay with the group.
4. Witness the tragedy & spiritual events. During the procession you reach a temple area; you observe a tragic exchange between a man and the temple keeper — the vision/reveal of what happened to the villagers.
5. Lead the villagers into ritual fire. The procession reaches a fiery area: after a pause, the mourners (led by the monk) step into the fire; you must also proceed and lead villagers into the fire — symbolic release for the spirits.
6. Follow spirits & complete the final memorial. After emerging from the fire/spirit-vision you follow white spirits to a memorial tablet; you then “illuminate” the tablets (or gravestones) — symbolizing closure. Then you return to the “real world” and talk again with the rustic monk to finish the quest.
