Thrashed by a HK Division A Player! Asian Tennis Boy vs. Billy Wong (5 March 2025)

Played a friendly set with Billy Wong on 5 March 2025 and lost 1-6

Billy (light blue/green long sleeve) is a tennis coach and plays for Division A for his club as well. Against a formidable opponent, I was blown away on the court by my inferior footwork, preparation and technique. The only way for me to win points were through his unforced errors, some low slices, and the occasional drop shot or lob. Billy didn't give me enough time as he took the ball very early. As such, I felt rushed and pressured throughout the match and was unable to dictate the points and always felt like I was on the back foot. This resulted in me creating less opportunities intentionally, and even if an opportunity arose, it would feel unexpected and the chance of error or not taking it is higher. Billy's weapon was his FH which somehow carried side spin which curled away from me, forcing me into defensive positions. At the end of the hit, Billy advised me to step in to every shot as much as I can. Also, I'm still developing my two handed BH as well, hoping for more improvement in due time.
