Merry Christmas, everybody! One year ago today, Christmas 2023, my amazing wife of 24 years bought me an electronic drum kit. I'd been wistfully talking about wanting to learn the drums for years, and she finally did something about it. Anyways, in choosing my 1-year anniversary cover, there really was only one choice: Journey's classic Don't Stop Believing'. This is my third cover of this one, but this time there's no music to follow. This is also, of all the songs I've played this year, the most fun to do. I love that this one is written to be played open-handed, and I practically grew up on this tune, so it's sweet to listen to over and over (an under-appreciated detail when choosing a song to cover!).
