Some of our outbuildings still have their original slate roof. Due to their age, they are falling into disrepair, so I undertook the task of repair. This section was the worst affected with work needing done to the timber, the wall and the slate. In this first video I tackle the repair of the top-plate, the rafters and the sarking boards.
