LILY TUTORIAL WITH A REVIEW OF FABER CASTELL POLYCHROMOS COLOURED PENCILS & VIVAN WONG BOOK | ART

Every week I show you some colouring techniques, normally watercolour colour or colouring on your card making, but this week is different as I've just purchased some Faber Castell Poloychromos! Eeeek!

I thought it would be a great opportunity to do my first project infront of the camera (so be kind lol) and give you a little review of the pencils and this book I am using to help me develop my skills - Love Coloured pencils by Vivian Wong. It's really modern style with tonnes of projects to have a go at. I hope to record me working through a lot of this great book for you. The pencils? Wow! I am so happy with the colour range and intensity of the colour pay off. To get a layered look like in this project, you do have to learn to be very gentle laying down those first couple of layers and build up slowly. Take your time, this is not something to do in a rush - this one flower took about 1.5 hours. Enjoy!
