Melbourne City Street Eats You Need To Experience

We recently embarked on a culinary adventure through Melbourne's vibrant Central Business District (CBD), focusing on delicious and affordable street eats perfect for a quick bite on the go.

Our tour began at Kwafood Fried Chuan, named after "Kua Fu," a legendary Chinese giant. We enjoyed juicy meats and golden fried veggies, all generously coated in flavorful Sichuan-style seasoning.

Next, we visited Hotstar, a Taiwanese chicken chain located just outside Melbourne Central. Their oversized crispy chicken was incredibly juicy and tender, truly satisfying. While at Melbourne Central, we also tried Wang Pancake, and both the pork and spicy beef options were absolutely delightful.

Our CBD food journey continued as we sought out authentic New York-style pizza at Sal's in Flinders Lane, where it's sold by the slice. We ordered both pepperoni and their standout buffalo ranch chicken, which instantly transported us back to New York!

Finally, we indulged in the latest craze at Kumo. Craving a unique dessert, we tried their souffle pancakes, and they certainly delivered — so light and fluffy, they were a true delight.
