As part of the rebuild of the 4.2 in my Jeep CJ7, starting off with cleaning the block after it came from the machine shop and then painting it the original blue - more like a tinge of teal in there. Using the KBS motor coating kit. Learned from a few mistakes about oiling to prevent flash rust and keeping the painted surfaces free of oil is a delicate dance.
