Golden West High School Winter Percussion 2011 "Tribal" First Show

This was our first show of our 2011 season. Yes, hopefully people can infer from it being the first show that there will be inevitable mistakes that are rather flagrant or blatant. In addition, I apologize for the bad quality of the overall video recording.

We got second place in Open Division (don't kill me for not remembering the score please), which is pretty good considering we have tons of room for improvement. However on a more self-indulgent matter, and keeping the rather small amount of time given between each competition in mind, our group really needs to step it up and push for the rest of the season if they wish to acquire (note how I said "acquire") first place in championships. The show as a whole offers a relatively large room for visuals, and the composition is rather interesting.

I have decided to post this video to be used as a "strategy" if you will, for the other members of this group to view their mistakes and perhaps fix them over time. (Well, that is IF they watch this. And, if they watch this, whether they choose to use it to their advantage or not.)

It is out of the norm for me to post competition videos other than championships, but the other members of the group and our instructor insisted that I did so.
