Most of your training lives in straight lines.
Up. Down. Push. Pull. Slow. Controlled.
And that’s not bad.
That’s how you build muscle and basic strength.
But life doesn’t happen in straight lines.
And it’s almost never slow or controlled.
Real life is:
• losing balance
• rotating suddenly
• catching yourself
• moving without warning
If you’ve never trained there, your body doesn’t feel safe there.
That’s why strong people still feel fragile.
Not because they’re weak.
But because their strength only exists in predictable positions.
When force shows up somewhere unfamiliar,
the nervous system panics… and that’s where tweaks and tears happen.
You don’t need to train harder.
You need strength that transfers.
Train rotation.
Train asymmetry.
Train long, awkward positions.
