Why Do We Practice Confession?

Last Sunday, we continued our Liturgies series with Pastor Hanibal preaching about the importance of confession. This week Hanibal sat down with Ginny Stair, Family Life Director, and Phil Shields, Groups Pastor, to talk more about how confession fits into our life inside and outside the church.

Liturgy, by definition, refers to the set of forms, rituals, prayers, readings, and ceremonies used in public worship, particularly those officially prescribed by a church tradition. Our goal is to understand how and why every part of our worship service is essential. This is not only because it is based on Scripture, but also because it shapes our minds and our heart’s affections, empowering our individual wills to live for God's glory, our good, and the good of others.
