Unbroken Inspiration | 2024 Tour Divide Film | Rob Maple

After years of dreaming and a year of planning, Rob Maple set his sights on the 2024 Tour Divide Grand Depart leaving Banff, Alberta, Canada on 14 June 2024. This film is a look into Rob's epic journey along the spine of the Rocky Mountains, which covers 2,745 miles, climbing upwards of 200,000 feet of elevation, and crosses through two Canadian provinces and five U.S. states to the Southern U.S. Border at Antelope Wells, New Mexico.

The film captures Rob’s mental and physical journey from Banff, Alberta to the U.S.–Mexico border, crossing remote mountains, deserts, and forests—fueled by resilience, purpose, and determination. “This wasn’t just about riding a bike,” said Maple. “It was about proving to myself—and hopefully others—that no matter your age, your setbacks, or your fears, you can keep moving forward. You just have to keep pedaling.”
