It's Rail Head Treatment Train time, so we start at Tonbridge West Yard where varous movements are taking place and a Network Rail Test Train departs. We then move onto Penshurst where we see a Southern Class 377 arrive with a Tonbridge to Redhill shuttle. Heading north to Polhill we have two regular freight flows operated by Class 66s along with the usual Class 377/465/466 workings.
Next we head to the Medway Valley Line which has been served by Class 466 units unusually in 2-car formation. However this practice will end shortly as EMUs without accessible toilets will be banned from running solo.
At Cuxton a pair of Class 73/1s pass with a RHTT working.
