For today's free wire tutorial, I'd like to share my Bicycle Chain Bracelet design.

There's something really pleasing in both how this moves as a chain and how it feels on the wrist; aside from the clasp, you generally only feel the beds on your skin.

I've provided exacting wire gauge and length details, with bead sizes to create in two sizes (a 6.5" and an 8.75" length) but you can easily adjust this by decreasing or adding the number of links you use. I've worked in 6mm and 8mm beads, as per the images, but you can absolutely go crazy with this design and go huge or even more diminutive. I would recommend sticking with 1mm / 18g wire for strength, so you'll need beads with adequate drill holes.
