A really hard to find Harmony Guitar. Its a 1961, first year made, H66 Vibrajet. This is the model with the hot DeArmond Gold Foil Pickups and on board Vibrato Tremelo! Comes with the Deluxe Harmony Gray and White Red Plush case which is as nice as the guitar. What a cool Guitar!!

We dated this guitar from the date stamp on the DeArmond Pickups. October 12, 1961. These guitars were made from 1961 thru 1965. This would have been one of the first years models!

This is only the second H66 Vibrajet we have had in the shop and its been an really long time since the last. I don't remember the tremelo sounding as good as it does. This is not a gimmick effect. The tremelo is very deep and pulsating. Not a whimpy sound at all. I was very impressed. It is powered by a small 1.5 volt camera battery that is very easy to replace. The vibrato worked great when we installed a new battery!

This guitar is all original...the guitar is in great shape as is the pickguard and tuners..those are usually pretty beatup on these or missing. All the knobs, tailpiece, Harmony Bridge, strap buttons..you name it...all original and in great shape. Only superficial dings here and there. This guitar is in fabulous shape! Even the metal Harmony raised logo is still with this guitar. Those are always missing...

Notice the shaded area behind the bridge. The bridge was always in the wrong place. It would have not intonated where it was since we got it. Our Tech laughed and said given where the bridge was and the lack of wear on the frets, its a true closet classic! Its in incredible shape!

We had Jeff the Tech set it up with awesome playing low action. New 10 guage strings. Its an absolute pleasure to play now and the pickups....WOW...the DeArmonds are thick and full of tone. What great pickups this guitar has!

There is nothing that detracts from the big booming sound of this cool guitar...It has super super low action and it sounds HUGE....If you have never heard these Pickups...you are in for a treat...They sound great!!..

The sound of these guitars are really 50's and 60's blues, jazz, country, and rock......It has a that distinctive Harmony sound .....The neck is great.......the action is low and the neck is very comfortable to play..You will not want to put his one down when you get it..its a blast to play......I have enjoyed playing it and know it will be a treasured guitar to who ever is lucky enough to get this guitar...With the on-board Tremelo, this is one cool RARE guitar!

The case is an original gray and white Red Plush Harmony Case...it fits it great. Some deterioration to the butt end but good for its age...Even the accessory box is still with it. All latches, hinges and original handle are still here and working...A great case for this awesome guitar!

This guitar is beautiful but its old and vintage so its sold as is no returns. However, I have been hand picking my customers guitars for over 20 years now and they all loved the guitars I found for them. This beautiful Harmony will certainly not be an exception.
