1-ALL of Gradius V
The last mainline game in the series, and one hell of a note to end on.
The game's awesome.
I chose Type 2, as I did this on hardware about 10 years ago and wanted to see if my crusty old reflexes could beat the game again.
It's taken me weeks of on/off practice to do this....
Type 2 options can free-fire in any direction while your ship stands still by holding R1. However.. you can never lock the options in place which makes most speed kill strats impossible.
It's beginner friendly, but definitely has its drawbacks, and the pros don't seem to use it.
