Ancient worlds are all around us with present cultures rooted in them. In North America there are numerous sites where Native American cultures constructed various ways of marking complex astronomical understandings including the Solstices. In this video we look at a couple of these including the Sun Dagger in Chaco Canyon and the Medicine Wheel in the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming.
Next week we'll take a look at other similar sites in North American with a focus on the Nazca geoglyphs.
