WG Seals is Mesa ETP’s premier seal system for floating roofs in above ground storage tanks (ASTs). The industry’s leading storage terminal owners, refineries, pipelines, and AST contractors have been using the WG Seal system for over 35 years with thousands of installations worldwide. The WG Seal system components include:
• Mechanical shoe primary seal (available in stainless steel or galvanized steel, in multiple heights)
• Multiple seal fabrics to choose from depending on the tank product – see our “Chart A” for details
• Compression plate secondary seal with gasketed vapor barrier (available in stainless steel or galvanized steel)
• Secondary seal tips (multiple to choose from depending on the tank – see back for details)

Mesa ETP secondary seal tips / Wiper Tips are used in conjunction with compression plate secondary seals. Nitrile/Vinyl compounds are standard with other materials available upon request. Seal tips effectively hold up to abrasion, hydrocarbons, ozone, water, sunlight, and temperature. They offer fast and easy installation on metallic compression plate systems. Seal tips provide excellent hydrolytic stability and UV resistance for long service lives.
