We Cleared a Dangerous Blocked Footpath That Was Pushing People Into the Road

Our team carried out essential roadside and pavement maintenance, focusing on a community cleanup that improved public safety and pedestrian access. This blocked pavement had become unsafe, forcing people to walk in the road. Through careful vegetation clearance, debris removal, and litter cleanup, we began restoring this neglected footpath to make it safer and more accessible for everyone.

This work is part of our ongoing volunteer community cleanups, helping to maintain public spaces, pavements, and footpaths that have been left overgrown for years. While this was only Part 1 of the project, it shows the real impact that consistent, hands-on community action can have.

This wasn’t a quick or easy job. With basic tools and limited time, it was only possible to safely clear part of the pavement in one day. Rather than rush or take risks, we focused on making immediate improvements and documenting the real condition of the area.

This video shows the reality of community clean-ups — progress matters, even when a full restoration takes more than one visit.

Part 2 continues the work and shows how consistency and care can slowly make public spaces safe again.
