*****How to calculate your speed with NO LOAD (no rider on skateboard) with your motor's kv rating, battery voltage and wheels size. Assuming your belt system is a 1:3 reduction.
Formula:
[(Motor's kv X Applied Voltage X Wheel size in meters X Pi X 60 minutes) X 1/3 gear ratio] / 1000 (to change meters to kilometers) = Your speed in KM/H without load
Speed in KM/H X (0.62) = Speed in MPH
--------------------------------
Example:
[(400kv motor X 22 Volts X 0.076m wheel diameter X Pi X 60 minutes) X 1/3 gear ratio] / 1000 = 42. 02KM/H
42.02 KM/H X (0.62) = 26.05 MPH without load
17 mph with a 175 lbs rider
