Join me on a walk through one of my favourite forests, a very special place I have been coming to over the last 20 years
I come here when I want to have a night in nature, under the stars with a roaring log fire blazing in front of me.
This is a special wood on its own merit as you will see when you walk in the footsteps with me. The great outdoors and nature is my therapy in life and I make sure I take regular doses of it to recharge and revitalise my soul. I see it as a vital outdoor activity to promote mental health and appreciation of life.
I intend to do some fireside history tales for the channel on our great Scottish heroes and their exploits during the Scottish wars of independence and I think this location and woodland will be the perfect setting to do it.
