In this video we have covered how performance is measured internally using average daily rate or average room rate, occupancy percent, revenue per available room or RevPAR and significance of the same. Once you have these details, how do we map this with hotels that directly compete with your. Then we will understand other relative performance terms such as market penetration index or MPI, average rate index of ARI and revenue generation index or RGI.
We have also discussed what tactical adjustments does one need to do be able to score well on these performance parameters.
